Meditations not as light-infused as could be

Overall, I like the concept and most of the content of this app. Although I find the images on the cards a little cheesy and unnecessary, what I find more of a issue are many of the meditations. They speak to ego more than not, and I find myself not elevated to a place of light. For instance, my favorite meditation is "Umbilical Cord":

"I now establish an umbilical cord to the Divine Energy, ensuring a constant glimmer of Light in my life, especially now when I am in a place of darkness."

I feel so connected to the Light and out of ego with the first 3/4 of this meditation, but then, the last part: "especially...darkness" talks directly to ego. Ruins the connection to light I had just mili-seconds before. Several other meditations do this. Seems incongruent.
